Mohamed Salah cut a sullen figure during Liverpool’s pre-match warm-ups ahead of kick-off against West Ham after being relegated to the bench.

The Egyptian is Liverpool’s most prolific goalscorer this season with 24 strikes in all competitions but struggled in the midweek Merseyside derby defeat against Everton.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has usually relied on Salah in big games during his stunning Liverpool tenure but has opted to start Harvey Elliott in his place at the London stadium.
