Fans disagree with Trossard gives Spurs supporter his shirt after derby victory

Arsenal fans were left baffled after Leandro Trossard gave his shirt to a Tottenham fan following the north London derby.

The Gunners won 3-2 away to their bitter rivals and are one point ahead of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League, albeit having played a game more.

A video showed the reaction of Tottenham fans as players from both teams left the pitch.

In the footage, a Tottenham fan is seen asking for high fives from some of the home players.

Some of the Arsenal players were heckled by Tottenham fans, but Ben White jokingly responded by saying ‘unlucky’ to one of the opposing supporters.

Arsenal fans also found Eddie Nketiah’s reaction hilarious, with the striker mocking a Spurs supporter who shouted abuse at him.

The main focus, though, was on Trossard, who surprisingly gave his shirt to a Tottenham fan who had asked for it.

Other Spurs fans weren’t happy, with one declaring: ‘Why are you asking for his f*****g shirt?’.

One Arsenal fan on X stated that Trossard giving his shirt to a Tottenham fan was ‘weird’.

They wrote: ‘Trossard giving his shirt to a spurs fan is proper weird behaviour’.

Another fan concurred as they wrote: ‘Weird behaviour. Would be terror in our home end if someone wanted sons shirt so spursy’.

Meanwhile, one supporter stated that Trossard should have given his shirt to an Arsenal fan instead.

They wrote: ‘Fair play Leo but should have given it to our own lot. Better off throwing it in away end or one of the kids’.

Another fan wrote: ‘Spurs fans videoed our goals for us and asked for our player’s shirts. Weird lot.’

One fan found Nketiah’s reaction to the Tottenham fans hilarious, writing: ‘My guy Eddie’.

Another wrote: ‘Eddie’ along with a plethora of laughing emojis.
