    Match Report

ASTON VILLA’S European hopes are over after they suffered defeat at Olympiacos.

Unai Emery’s side knew they needed to pull off a miracle to overturn a 4-2 deficit from last week’s first-leg defeat at home.

But they were blown away by Olympiacos, who are now preparing to face Fiorentina in the final.

Moroccan Ayoub El Kaabi scored either side of half time to secure a 6-2 aggregate victory.

And that was enough to seal them a place in their first-ever European final.

While for Emery and Villa, they must now get over this crushing defeat and concentrate on securing a top four finish to qualify for the Champions League.
